WHAT IS INVISALIGN?

Invisalign is a method of orthodontic treatment which uses a series of clear, removable and comfortable teeth aligners as an alternative to traditional metal dental braces. The aligners are virtually invisible and few people, if any would be able to tell if you are wearing them.

HOW IS INVISALIGN SUPERIOR?

Invisalign is simply another method to move teeth. With Invisalign teeth are moved or aligned with clear plastic rather than braces. One has to bear in mind that the movement of teeth will depend upon biological and physical orthodontic principles.

Clinically, aligners avoid many of the side effects of traditional fixed appliances, for example the effects on the gums and supporting tissues, when fixed orthodontic appliances are used.

HOW DOES INVISALIGN WORK?

Invisalign straightens teeth using a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that are custom-made specifically for your teeth. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign not only controls the amount of movement per aligner, but also the timing of the movement. As you replace each aligner every two weeks, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week, gradually moving towards the projected final position.
