April 1st is less than a couple of weeks away and that means that pranksters everywhere will be rolling up their sleeves and thinking about what devious tricks they can pull on unsuspecting family and friends. We’ve put together five of our favourite kid friendly April Fool’s Day pranks you can set up in your bathroom. Happy pranking!
Mustard in the Toothpaste
You need to get on this a couple of weeks before April Fool’s Day (unless you don’t mind wasting a tube of toothpaste). Get an empty soft toothpaste container, stick the spout of a mustard container in it, and fill it up. Wait for the shock on your kids’ faces when they squeeze mustard onto their toothbrushes the next morning!
Vaseline on the Toothbrush Handle
Imagine reaching for your toothbrush and coming up with a hand full of goo. The night before April Fool’s Day, smear a liberal amount of petroleum jelly over the handle of their toothbrush and wait to hear a great big, “Ewwwwwww!” the next morning.
Tape the Faucet
If you don’t mind creating a bit of a mess that can easily be cleaned up, take some strong clear tape (think packing tape, not Scotch tape) and tape under the faucet spout, leaving an opening pointing towards the unsuspecting victim. When the turn on the tap they’ll get soaked!
Bugs on the Toilet Paper
Head to your local dollar or craft store and buy some big bug stickers. Unroll the toilet paper and stick some of the creepy crawlers inside, and then carefully roll the toilet paper back up. It’ll scare the bejeezers out of your kids when they use the toilet and find your gruesome prank.
Mom & Dad in the Toilet
Grab your smart phone, put on a scary or funny face, take a selfie and send it to the closest printer. Once printed, tape it on the toilet bowl underneath the seat and the toilet lid, and then put the seat and the lid down. Your kids will be in for a shocking surprise when they go to the bathroom in the morning!
