A Child Friendly Environment
Our child friendly dental experience begins in our waiting rooms, where we went to great lengths to make our office environment warm and inviting. We decorated with bright colours, have books for kids to read and toys to play with, and bought beautiful aquariums filled with bright and colourful fish that your kids can look at while they’re waiting.
Our child friendly dental experience continues into our examination rooms. We never separate kids from their parents, welcoming parents in with the children to help our young patients feel safe and comfortable through the entire experience. We encourage you to hold your kids hands, talk to them and explain what our dentists and hygienists are doing, soothing any fears or uneasiness they might have.
A Child Friendly Experience
Each of our examination rooms includes a TV mounted above the chair and we have a full selection of cartoons and other kid’s shows to choose from. What can be better than getting to watch TV while one of our gentle and friendly hygienists works on their beautiful smiles?
Who likes getting needles? Certainly not us! We specialize in needle-free dentistry and don’t use needles on kids. If they need any work that requires anesthesia we use laughing gas (nitrous oxide). A few quick breathes and your child will be ready to let us do what we need to in order to keep their smiles beautiful and their teeth looking great.
We’re parents, too, and we know that there aren’t many things in life that kids like more than toys. At the end of each visit each child gets to choose a toy to take home, putting a perfect end to an enjoyable visit to the dentist.
